With over 20 years of experience in microbiology and biotechnology, she is a seasoned protein scientist known for her impactful work in microbial flavors, protoplast fusion, fermentation technologies, enzyme kinetics, protein engineering, designing immobilization strategies and lignocellulose degradation. Holds a process patent for her work on the ligninolytic enzyme, laccase.

Her active involvement in high-level policy and technical meetings, steering committees, and advisory groups highlights her expertise. Is an adept at fostering strong relationships and collaborating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government officials, academic researchers, and industry professionals. Has coordinated and organized numerous workshops and conferences in her role as a State Project Coordinator and Consultant. She has an impressive publication record, including peer-reviewed articles, books, educational resources, and process documentation.

Before joining Cincozyme Private Limited, she held significant positions at prestigious organizations such as Dayananda Sagar Institutions, the Biodiversity Board, and ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology. This experience enables her to provide innovative solutions, tackle challenges, and drive the company’s growth.
