With over 21 years of experience in microbiology and biotechnology, she is a seasoned protein scientist known for her impactful work in microbial flavors, protoplast fusion, fermentation technologies, enzyme kinetics, protein engineering, designing immobilization strategies and lignocellulose degradation. Holds a process patent for her work on the ligninolytic enzyme, laccase. Proficient in molecular techniques such as PCR, qPCR, gene cloning, and protein expression. Experienced in optimizing fermentation processes and analyzing gene expression data to understand cellular responses.
She has participated and chaired many high-level policy,technical meetings, steering committees, and advisory groups She has organized numerous workshops and conferences in her role as a State Project Coordinator and Consultant. She has an impressive publication record, including peer-reviewed articles in international journals of acclaim, books, educational resources, and process documentation. She has been recognized and honored by many reputed institutions for her significant research contributions
